See pictures below....This is Daddy's first attempt to post so hopefully you will be able to see this. The last two days have been amazing. We have just been soaking in our new family. It is awesome to watch Kathryn's motherly instincts take over. She already knows exactly what he needs. As most of you know from our friend’s blogs the boys all got dressed up in their traditional outfits for the big day. They all looked soooo cute! I have to admit that I always thought it was a little cheezy dressing little kids up like that but he looked adorable and I'm so glad they had them for the boys. We went on a big journey around Ho Chi Minh yesterday with the Sala family. The boys both did great even though it was one thousand and seventy four degrees outside. We ate Pizza Hut and it was awesome!!!! They kept asking us if it was as good as in America. . . yesterday it was was better. Then we ate ice cream, the scoops weren’t a size that my dad would be proud of but it still hit the spot. The food here has actually been really good but after a week we need something from home and that definitely did the trick.
Today 3 of the dads took clothes to the laundry. We decided on the way back we would ride on a motorbike instead of a taxi. It was pretty sweet and actually I felt safer on one of those things then I have in any car. The only scary part was that we had to show the drivers cards from the hotel so they would know where we wanted to go. They got us there and it was well worth it.
Cole is doing great. He only wakes up a couple of times in the night and Kathryn is able to calm him very easily. I’m sure he is on sensory overload. He hasn’t been off the second floor of the orphanage since he got there and yesterday we walked him through an Arcade/disco-tech/bowling alley that might have been the noisiest flashiest place I have ever been. He just gripped a little tighter to his momma and soaked it all in.

I was so nervous as a first time mom when they placed my 13 month old daughter in my arms for the first time. It really is amazing how natural it all is...you just "know" what to do. Obviously you are both doing great from the smiles on his sweet face. Enjoy your time together!
You did a great job posting Daddy Dusty!!! I'm so impressed...now if you could just teach Joey! We love being here with you guys...just thought I'd let you know that! Can't wait to continue this journey here and at home in a few weeks! Love you all Nimmo family!
Ker, Joey and Zakary!!
The boys all look so cute. They look like royalty in their traditional outfits. Ethan can't wait to meet his first cousin....neither can Anna and I. Have a great rest of your trip and we will see you soon.
Uncle Hans!
Nice job on the post daddy! Kathryn does look like a natural mommy. Your son is so precious and I know you must be so proud. Hope the OKC families and the Tulsa families can get together soon.
You guys look great! The backpack looks like it's working perfectly and Cole's dress-up pictures are so darling! How are his clothes from home fitting? I thought about you when we were shopping today and wondered what size he ended up being. Joel keeps asking "Where's Cole?" We miss you so much and can't wait to see you! I know Kathryn is a natural mommy. I'm sure Cole is in love with her just like Joel was when he was a baby...and still is. Love ya'll! M, T, and JK
I just wanted you to know that I have been following your blog and am sooo happy for you guys! The pictures truly warm my heart. Cole is adorable and you all make a great family! Hope we can plan a zoo trip this summer!

Your little family is adorable! And Dusty is Steve Nimmo exactly as I remember him (probably the last time I saw him) 40 years ago! Little Cole is precious and so deserving of the wonderful parents you will be. Enjoy every single minute, because it goes by so fast! Please bring Cole by the bank when you return.
yea! A post and more pic! I have been going nuts here waiting to see you guys. We all knew Kathryn would be a natural and all kids love you Dusty! i am just wondering if you (Dusty) have had to change any diapers yet? I just smile thinking about it. You all have a great time and don't stress about getting the pic/post up...just enjoy your time getting to know your son! He already looks like he is so comfortable in your arms. I am counting down the days until you all are home!
Melanie (Zac and Parker too!)
The pictures you posted are great. There is a special spark in Kathryn's eyes in one of those photos that says it all. Being a mommy is awesome, and I'm so glad you guys are taking it all in.
