So Busy...So FUN!

September has been an incredible month! We went to Colorado for my sister's wedding, went camping, and took Cole to an OU football game. This calls for a slide show! : )

Checking In...

Just thought I would let you know that we are still here! We were in Colorado over the weekend for my little sister's wedding and it was an amazing weekend!! The setting was beautiful (Estes Park), the wedding was so much fun, and she of course looked absolutely gorgeous! We had a great time with the fam and already want to go back. I love Colorado. I will post some pictures when I get a chance.

Nothing new on the baby front - just waiting. I think the lack of control makes me a little crazy in other areas of my life (i.e. changing my blog 50 times). I still need to finish up Cole's room, get rid of some old clothes to make closet space, and to be honest just do a major house clean!

What Does A Perfect Saturday Look Like?...

This is what I LOVE about the fall...

Can you see how productive we are today? This is literally what has been going on over here for about the last 3 hours! Somehow I was actually napping next to Cole (yes, to his right) on about 10 inches of our QUEEN size bed with about 1/2 an inch of pillow! (If you are confused, Dusty has the ottoman pulled up to the couch sleeping - we really don't have a ginormous couch - ha). Hope you guys are having a day like this too!

Little Boy...Big Bed!

My baby has moved to his big boy room! He is doing great. Sleeping (and actually staying) in his big bed. He looks so tiny! His legs barely make it off the pillow. I have to admit I teared up when leaving the room. I almost got the door closed when I heard him so quietly say "mama?" I said "yes, baby?"... "SEE YA' LATER!". Then I knew I could go to bed because he was going to be ok. What a funny kid. Here are a couple pictures of his new room - we are not finished yet. My dad is painting some art for his walls that I will show you later and I need to get some curtains.

Still no news on the adoption front for our baby. We are just trying to be patient and know that God's timing is perfect, but that sure doesn't mean we aren't letting him know the desires of our heart! Ha. Things have been really slow lately so we are also praying for our waiting friends - looking forward to hearing good news and celebrating with you!!
