Korean Baby Food!

Cole and I made Juk today for baby Jae. Juk is a Korean rice porridge that you can add anything to for a good hot meal. It is commonly fed to babies and we know that baby Jae thinks it is very yummy. It was fun to be cooking for him and Cole was a great helper - and eater! This was one of Cole's favorites in Vietnam too (called chao) and he ate two bowls when it was done cooking. How fun to have little containers of food for Jae in the freezer?! :D

Good news that our great friends (and many other wonderful families) are leaving for Korea this week! We are extatic that they will be meeting their sweet son on Friday and pray they have a safe and wonderful trip!

I keep watching for when you travel. It sounds like you might have a GNR close to that of Cole's. I know you don't want to wait that long, so we will continue to pray for you that it will be sooner. Aren't the boys getting big? Take care.

Kathryn,

It is worth it, as you well know. The moment you hold them all the waiting pain vanishes. So, so, so true.

Every child we see I am examining them and their foster mother just to make sure.

You will be here soon, we have tons of advice...mostly, try to get some sleep now...we are exhausted!

Love you friend!
